Mission Statement

Ms. Oklahoma Senior America is an affiliate of the Ms. Senior America Pageant. It is the world’s first and foremost pageant to emphasize and give honor to women who have reached the “Age of Elegance”. It is a search for the gracious lady who best exemplifies the dignity, maturity, and inner beauty of all senior Americans. The Ms. Senior American philosophy is based upon the belief that seniors are the foundation of America, and our most valuable treasure. It is upon their knowledge, experience and resources upon which the younger generation has the opportunity to build a better society.

Philosophy

The pageant is an exciting combination of talent and inner beauty along with the individual fulfillment and elegance. It is MORE than a beauty pageant, it is a reaffirmation of life and self-worth, of laughter and tears, of inner beauty and outward charm!

Purpose

By giving women 60 years and older an opportunity to display their “inner beauty”, talents, and elegance, the Pageant honors the achievements of Senior Women and motivates and encourages them to utilize their full potential to share a positive outlook on life with others. Participants represent a cross-section of America.

Our Goal

• Enrich, empower, and promote senior women in all their glory.
• Redefine senior women and draw attention to their achievements.
• To champion healthy aging, wellness, and mental well-being.
• To promote our senior women and give them honor as they present their stories of achievement, adversity, and hope.

Support

Like the Ms. Senior America Pageant, the Ms. Oklahoma Senior America is a NON-Profit organization that depends on sponsors and volunteers to continue the positive aspects of aging and to act as an educator. Sponsors include individuals, government agencies, private businesses, social and service organizations. These sponsors help celebrate the vitality of today’s senior woman and applaud her accomplishments in the community, state and nation. Without your help, we cannot continue to honor our senior women! Ms. Senior Oklahoma Foundation has been a 501c3 organization since December 6, 2011.
